Riverview Dairy hopes to add dairy farms to eastern North Dakota
WDAY RADIO — A Minnesota dairy company hopes to add two new dairy farms to eastern North Dakota, which would quadruple the number of dairy cows in the state. Riverview Dairy hopes to build a dairy farm southeast of Hillsboro in Trail County with 25 thousand dairy cows. They also want to have a 12-and-a-half-thousand-cow farm in Richland County.

Danielson Selected by Texas Rangers in MLB Draft
FARGO, N.D. – Right-handed pitcher Joey Danielson has been selected by the Texas Rangers with the 525th pick in the 17th round of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday afternoon. Danielson appeared in 62 games over five seasons on the mound for NDSU. His 62 appearances ranked tied for eighth all-time in NDSU history. He totaled 12 saves over that span, which is positioned tied for sixth all-time in Bison history. Danielson registered 93 total strikeouts over 89.0 innings in his career and registered a 5.97 ERA.

U8 Squad Fourth At State Tourney
Britton took its U8 Junior Jacks baseball team to the state tournament in Madison for the first time last weekend and came home with a fourth place trophy. A total of 30 teams all competed in one class and after pool play were divided into three different brackets. Britton beat Avengers Blue from Mitchell in the first round of pool play 11-0, and then dropped decisions to the West Central Rebels 11-4 and the Brandon Valley Black Sox 11-0 in pool play games to earn a spot in the White Bracket.
