Hugh Freeze's first season as the Auburn football coach might have been a resounding success, if not for two plays in the Iron Bowl. The fourth-straight loss in the annual showdown with rival Alabama were impacted by a muffed punt by Koy Moore, followed by Jalen Milroe's famous (or infamous) fourth-and-31 touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond. A win against the No. 8-ranked Crimson Tide could have largely erased the embarrassment of a loss to New Mexico State. Instead, the Tigers were on the wrong end of one of the wildest finishes in Iron Bowl history.

More than a dozen vehicles were eligible in the U.S.-Built SUV category this year, but Hyundai's Montgomery, AL-built Santa Fe prevailed. The award was announced Wednesday, live on Fox News network's morning show, 'Fox & Friends'.

Montgomery Commission hears proposal for self-service kiosks from probate judge
Montgomery – Montgomery Probate Judge J C Love III wants to install six self-service kiosks throughout the county, and he wants the Montgomery County Commission to help. Love told the Montgomery County commission at their July 2 work session that the kiosks will start out with basic services like renewing car tags, which will save them from having to travel to the Montgomery County Courthouse.
