Oklahoman ties strong in Western Amateur
The Western Amateur, one of the most grueling tests of amateur golf, is under way at Moraine Country Club in Dayton, Ohio, and it has a decided Oklahoma flavor. Among the contestants are Parker Sands of Edmond, Will Sides of Tulsa, Ryder Cowan of Edmond and Drew Goodman of Norman. University of Oklahoma teammates of Cowan and Goodman playing include Stephen Campbell Jr. and Jace Summy. Oklahoma State golfers in the field include Gaven Lane, Preston Stout, John Wild, Eric Lee and Ethan Fang.
Business Facing Tax Lien Says It Isn’t Alias of Indebted Company
A husband and wife are fighting a tax lien from the IRS they allege was wrongly transferred from one of their parents’ business. Steve and Amber Hacker’s Tulsa, Okla., daycare business, Hacker Industries LLC, has been assessed $1.1 million in tax liens by the IRS, which determined it was an alias of Blossom Day CRE Centers Inc., a business owned by Steve’s parents. The connection between the two companies is wrong, they told the US District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma in a Monday complaint.

Agreements Signed at Osage County Commissioners Meeting
The Board of Osage County Commissioners convened for a short meeting at the fairgrounds in Pawhuska on Monday morning. At that meeting, there were agreements signed with the nutrition department.
