US authorities announced Friday the return of another artwork stolen by Nazis to the family of Fritz Grunbaum, the Austiran-Jewish cabaret performer and collector who originally owned it. The drawing, by Austrian expressionist Egon Schiele, was returned at a ceremony Friday by another Austrian-Jewish family, who purchased the piece without knowing that it had been stolen.
Rockwall’s Seals Graduates U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
Levi Ryan Seals, son of Drs. Scott and Shanna Seals, of Rockwall recently graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at Kings Point, NY. Seals earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission in the U. S. armed forces. He also earned a Merchant Marine officer license, qualifying him to serve as an officer on any ship in the U.S. flag merchant marine. Seals is a graduate of Rockwall-Heath High School.

Teenage Suspect in Haverstraw Murder Arrested in South Carolina
PIEDMONT, SC – An 18-year-old suspect has been apprehended in connection with the shooting death of a 29-year-old man in Haverstraw, Rockland County. The Town of Haverstraw Police Department announced on Saturday, July 27, the arrest of Yandi Martinez for the homicide that occurred on Monday, July 1. Martinez, a resident of Haverstraw, was taken into custody at 1:20 p.m. in Piedmont, South Carolina. This arrest was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Special Investigations Team (FASIT), the FBI-Westchester Safe Streets task force, and the FBI-Columbia Division.
