Japanese food has become very popular in the United States with many excellent Japanese restaurants throughout the country.

A fine Japanese restaurant located in Oceanside, California, in the North San Diego area is Matsu. Their address is 626 South Fremont Street in Oceanside.

San Diego Magazine named them the "Best Japanese Restaurant" in 2022 and 2023.

They are open from Thursdays through Mondays from 4 PM to 10 PM for Dinner. They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
