Kombu Sushi and Sake is a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles, California. It is a nice place for casual dining with excellent sushi and other Japanese cuisine.

This is a family owned restaurant in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. They serve sushi and other dishes with the familiar flavors of Japan in a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere.

Kombu Sushi was named after our rescue Shiba Inu. He loves hamachi and his name also means 'kelp' in Japanese. We felt it was serendipitous to name the restaurant after him. Marrying a dog-friendly environment with our modern take on Japanese eats has inspired the design of our menu and space for Kombu Sushi. [from the website]

There are Happy Hour Specials from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
