Up-close Penguin Encounter at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

Have a Penquin Encounter at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. The Penquin Encounter takes place at 1:00 PM on Thursdays through Tuesdays. Guests must check in at the Information Desk by 12:30 PM.

This is a unique and fun adventure for families. It is a chance to have fun activities while learning about the Gentoo penquins. After the educational portion, guests will suit up in Penquin Encounter parkas, with gloves and boots. They will go behind the scenes to meet the penguins up close. Guests may encounter the penguins and feed fish to them by hand.

The Penguin Encounter lasts about 50 minutes. It is limited to ten people per Encounter. All guests must have a Penguin Encounter ticket as well as an Aquarium ticket. The Aquarium provides parkas, boots, and disposable gloves.
