After terrorists flew hijacked American commercial airplanes into the Twin Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, the whole world was alarmed. The death and devastation of September 11, 2001, was horrific.

That date, which has become known as 9/11, is commemorated each year throughout the United States to honor and remember those whose lives were lost in the tragic events of that day.

Cache Valley Remembers -- The 9/11 Project, Major Brent Taylor Foundation presented four days of programs held at the Hansen Sports Complex in North Logan, Utah.

On 9/11, the first day of the commemoration events, The Cache Valley Interfaith Choir presented an outstanding program of patriotic music. The Director of the Choir is Randy Wellbaum with Pianist Julia Larsen. Lara Gardner played the Violin, and Tanner Doyle was a Vocal Soloist.

They started their program with The Star Spangled Banner and ended with God Bless America. They presented a wonderful program of patriotic songs.

The celebration in North Logan started on September 11 and will end on September 14, 2024.
