Gerrard Street Kitchen: Global Cuisine in DC

Gerrard Street Kitchen has opened in The Darcy Hotel in Washington, D.C. It has fine dining with a daily Happy Hour.

They have a menu which includes Beef Wellington, Chicken Tajine, and Tacos made with Indian Flatbread. The Executive Chief is Jaime Velasquez, who has had a long presence in D.C.

The name was chosen from a street in London's West End neighborhood. It is an area where diners can fine restaurants with food from around the world, including dishes from Britain, India, Japan, Morocco, and South Asia.

The space in the Darcy Hotel had previously been occupied by a Michelin-starred restaurant which left about a year ago.

They are located at 1515 Rhode Island Avenue NW, Washington, D.C
