Alna Meetinghouse paint job finished
The Fund to Support Historic Alna (FSHA) is pleased to announce that painting of Alna’s historic 1789 meetinghouse has been completed. The meetinghouse was painted by Hopkins Painting Service, which operates out of Chelsea, with replacement of deteriorated clapboards and trim work performed by Darryn Petersen of Pond Road Restoration Carpentry in Nobleboro.

Man arrested after allegedly shattering windows of neighbor's home with large rocks in Eddington
EDDINGTON, Maine — A man has been arrested after police say he threw large rocks against his neighbor's house and smashed windows during an incident in Eddington Friday.
