The Cincinnati Bengals Will Bring Back Samaje Perine After Chris Evan’s Injury
The Stars are aligning, and the writing is on the wall for a Samaje Perine reunion with the Cincinnati Bengals. Thursday afternoon, the Bengals lost fourth year running back Chris Evans to a torn patellar tendon. After having a strong camp so far, he will now miss the entire 2024 season. The Bengals are now looking very thin outside of Chase Brown and newcomer Zack Moss. The only other back with experience is Trayveon Williams, who primarily plays special teams and only has 62 carries over his four-year career. Noah Cain and Elijah Collins are currently on the roster, but are more than likely practice squad bound and do not figure to be competing for a final spot.
