KDSN RADIO News — NW Iowa man burned in a house fire. (Sac Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Facebook page photo) (ODEBOLT, IOWA) On July 3, 2024 around 0910 hours a resident of 1651 370th Street in Odebolt called the Sac County Communications Center advising that his house was on fire and he was still in the residence. The first responding deputy observed a foot sticking out of a sliding door on the south side of the residence. The responding deputy made contact with the male resident and assisted the male to get up and out of the residence before Odebolt Fire Department arrived on scene. The male had burn injuries on the top portion of his body.
