The October meeting of the Baldwin Historical Society will be held on Sept 27, 2023, 7:00PM at Brown Memorial Library. Join them for a Baldwin history lesson and an interview with General Charles Mattocks regarding his Civil War experiences.
Family Fun Day at Cornish Fairgrounds on Sat. 9/23/23
On Saturday Kezar Falls Assembly of God is hosting a Family Fun Day at the Old Cornish Fairgrounds, in Cornish from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be free lunch, cotton candy, bounce houses, face painting, hayrides and other childrens activities. A prayer tent, and lots of free clothes. They will end the day with a Magic Show by a well known, Court Jester from the area.
Book & Pie Sale in Cornish 9/23/23
Bonney Memorial Library, 36 Main St. in Cornish, will hold its Book and Pie Sale on Sat. Sept. 23, 2023 at 8am - 12 noon. Books by donation; children's adult non-fiction and fiction, cookbooks, gardening, and more. All proceeds to support the library.

Bangor Savings Bank is running a peanut butter and jelly drive through the end of September to help stock up the local food pantries! They have found that the supply and demand for this staple pantry item can sometimes be a bit off balanced in food pantries. BSB wants to help with that!

The Town of Parsonsfield is soliciting bids for winter road maintenance. Contracts are available for the North and South sections. The Selectboard, in accordance with Article 23 of the Annual Town Meeting held September 10, 2022, is soliciting quotations for two sections of winter road maintenance (each section is approximately 40 miles).
