Bambuza Hospitality Group published a press release announcing two Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar restaurants will be joining Sacramento International Airport. The Terminal A location is anticipated in late-2024 and the Terminal B location is anticipated in mid-2025.

Bambuza is an ACDBE-certified travel retail and restaurant specialist. The hospitality group operates various concepts, including Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar , Ninth & Pike Artisan Kitchen , Embarque Whiskey Grill , and Happy Deli , as well as franchise partners like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Sambazon, according to information on the group’s website.

Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar currently has three other airport locations Portland International Airport (Concourse C&E), Sea-Tac Airport (North Satellite), Salt Lake City International Airport, and one neighborhood location at South Waterfront in Portland, OR.

“We are thrilled and proud to be bringing our family recipes to Sacramento International Airport,” says Katherine Lam, President & CEO of Bambuza Hospitality Group in the press release“We applaud SMF’s commitment to reflecting the area’s rich cultural and culinary diversity and are honored to be part of their effort to lead the way on including minority and women-owned small business at the airport.”

The chain takes an innovative spin on traditional Vietnamese food. Its menu includes various pho noodle soups, bánh mì sandwiches, grilled rice and noodle bowls. Those with a lighter appetite will also find spring rolls and salad rolls on the menu. According to the press release, both locations will adopt “self-ordering kiosks and quick-serve ordering options,” and will come with a bar for those looking to kill some time before their flight.

While several eateries joining the terminal, such as New Helvetia Brewery, have chosen to partner with HMSHost as their operational partner, Bambuza Hospitality Group will directly operate both upcoming locations. “HMSHost will not be involved at this point,” Scott Birch , Bambuza’s Senior Director of Operations, told What Now Detroit via text.
