The Teetotalist is Working on its First Brick-and-mortar Location in Sacramento

A non-alcoholic mixology concept that’s been gaining much traction around Sacramento is working on its first brick-and-mortar location. The Teetotalist , a Sacrament-based zero-proof phenomenon, announced on Instagram that it’s working on the concept’s very first brick-and-mortar location in Sacramento’s midtown . If all goes smoothly, the bar and social club is slated to open in the summer.

“The lease is signed. Designs are in progress. It’s finally time to share that we officially have our permanent brick-and-mortar on the way!” The post said, “We can’t wait to welcome you back to 1700 I Street, but this time in our very own space!”

Founded by Amanda and Kathryn Altman Brincat in 2022, The Teetotalist quickly bewildered the non-drinkers in Sacramento with a series of pop-ups. After a successful event at the building on 1700 I Street , the Teetotalist is now returning to the building, occupying Suite 130 , and working toward its first brick-and-mortar location.

Suite 130 was previously occupied by Bella Bridesmaid. To get ready for the non-alcoholic bar, the Brincats are transforming the space into a non-alcoholic cocktail lounge with nostalgic decors taking patrons back in time. The bar will have a long bar counter and comfortable seating, plus a private room for special events and future tasting experiences.

For those enjoying The Teetotalist’s collaborations with other businesses, the founders are taking a step back to realign their focuses. “We are slowing down on events so we can focus on build out and getting prepared for the new spot!” Amanda Brincat told What Now Detroit in a text. Brincat also mentioned there were a few events scheduled in the next few months, including The Gold Souls Band on March 9 at Propagate, and a Bunco Brunch on April 7.
