Hot Italian Restaurant to Return with a Ghost Kitchen Location

Hot Italian restaurant , a pizza eatery with previous locations in midtown Sacramento and Davis announced on its returning on social media . The caption-less post showed sealed kitchen equipment as Hot Italian works on opening a ghost kitchen in the upcoming Midtown Kitchens at 1829 22nd St . Midtown Kitchen , backed by Los Angeles-base Maker Kitchens is taking over the industrial builing that was once the Sacramento Bee plant. The space is currently nearing the end of construction and anticipates to have everything completed in March. The kitchens will open to the public soon after the establishment passes the final inspection.

Hot Italian closed its Davis restaurant in 2018 and the other sites soon followed due to financial struggles. However, local foodies did not forget about the restaurant and often reminisce over the restaurant’s memorable pizzas even today. According to the Business Journal , the upcoming Hot Italian location will “include some of the business’s most beloved pizza offerings, in addition to new menu items.”
