The Paisley Cafe in Orangevale has rebranded. Having taken over the neighborhood cafe for less than a year, new owners Jason Pierce and Lela Lunsford are making major changes to the business. This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal .

In addition to the new name, Dirtbag Tea Company and a new website that recently launched, the owners are also changing up the beverages and products being offered. While the retail portion of the business will remain unchanged, the cafe area will now include a self-serve tea station. The menu will also be geared more toward tea and tea-inspired beverages while expanding current food options to include past specials and more vegan options while keeping Paisley’s staple items. In the Business Journal coverage, Lunsford also mentioned the menu will most likely be updated seasonally.

“We really wanted to spread our wings and be ourselves with the cafe,” Pierce told the Business Journal. “We get a lot of people expecting us to be the previous owner, but to truly be ourselves and define our path in this, we feel it’s time to make this transition away from Paisley Cafe.”

What Now Sacramento reached out to the owners but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. As of this week, the business has already changed its Google listing to Dirtbag Tea Cafe, published a new website, and updated their social media handles.
