    Sacramento library under evacuation after bomb threat, suspect detained

    (FOX40.COM) – A Sacramento County library was evacuated after a bomb threat, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

    Around 4:45 p.m., deputies said a library employee informed them of a threat and suspicious item left near the Arden-Dimick Library building at 891 Watt Avenue. SCSO said a suspect has was detained and a search warrant was issued for the suspect’s residence.

    The item reported to be at the scene turned out to be a bag filled with miscellaneous items, however, a search of the home revealed several explosive materials , according to SCSO.
