(FOX40.COM) — Over two pounds of explosive materials were found inside a Sacramento residence after a bomb threat caused evacuations at the Arden-Dimick Library , according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 5 p.m., SCSO detained a suspect who allegedly told staff he planted a bomb at the facility. Deputies said there was not a bomb near the premises, however, a search warrant was issued for the suspect’s residence. An investigation of his home on Harvest Way near La Riviera Drive revealed a “live device with other 2 pounds of explosive material inside.”

This is a developing story. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
