The empty space at 1129 11th St., once Lit Delhi, is getting a new tenant. Bistro Bravado , a new Italian quick-service restaurant with an elevated atmosphere, is anticipated to open later this fall, possibly by September. This news was first reported in the Sacramento Business Journal .

Incoming operators Christopher French and Richard Gaona will turn the compact 680-square-foot space into a QSR restaurant with a high level of service. The menu, crafted by Executive Chef Paul Thompson , will highlight various hot and cold items, including lasagna, enchiladas, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. There will also be seasonal menus and chef’s specials, French told the Business Journal, citing additional plans to collaborate with other local food businesses, “such as spotlighting locally-made bread or tortillas.”

According to the Business Journal, Bistro Bravado will open on weekdays during lunch hours as a start and may gradually transition into weekend and dinner services. French had not replied to What Now Sacramento’s email request for comments by the time of this coverage. French, a seasoned hospitality professional, also owns a catering company called Catered to You and a food truck called The Spot on Wheels .
