    Sacramento man turns himself in for fatal shooting

    (FOX40.COM) — The suspect in a fatal Sacramento shooting in early July turned themselves over to authorities on Sunday, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

    Urberto Dotson, 51, of Sacramento turned himself in to detectives and was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail where he now faces homicide-related charges.

    Dotson is accused in a July 8 shooting that left a woman dead in the 3100 block of Northstead Drive.

    The Sacramento Police Department has yet to reveal the identity of the woman or the events that led up to the shooting.
