HERNANDO COUNTY: 20-Year-Old Spring Hill Woman Dies in US-19 Crash
Weeki Wachee, FL –A 20-year-old woman from Spring Hill died in a single-vehicle accident on US-19 north of SR-50 on Friday evening, August 23rd. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 6:20 PM, the 20-year-old woman was driving a Kia K5 and lost control of her vehicle while traveling north of SR-50. The vehicle veered off the roadway, crossed the east shoulder, and struck a utility pole. The car continued through the parking lot of the Animal Care Center Weeki Wachee before coming to a rest in a nearby wooded area.
