According to an official report, on the evening of July 19, 2024, a motor officer attempted to pull over Moreno for reckless driving within city bounds. However, the situation escalated when Moreno chose to not stop and engage to recklessly evade the police, which eventually caused the officers to terminate the pursuit for safety reasons.
