    Sag Harbor restaurant reopens May 15

    The Beacon, a Sag Harbor dining spot, is opening for its 26th season on Wednesday, May 15.

    Founded in 1999, the restaurant offers water views, food, wine and sunsets.

    The restaurant’s executive chef is Sam McCleland.

    Dinner service will begin at 5:30 p.m., and will include such starters as shrimp tacos, pork-belly pretzel buns, crispy portobello and other items. Entrees include a vegan no-pasta lasagna, sesame-crusted tuna and halibut baked in parchment as well as other seafood and pasta dishes.

    The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Wine and beer selections include those from the East End including the Sag Harbor Lager from Kidd Squid as well as from around the world.

    Reservations are recommended.
