The rookie Sag Harbor cop who pulled over Justin Timberlake for alleged drunk driving was a hero who saved someone’s life days before he busted the global pop star.
A Hamptons insider exclusively tells us that officer Michael Arkinson, who turns 24 this month, administered Narcan to save the local who was overdosing.
A source told Page Six of Arkinson: “This is a young officer who’s done an excellent job…. a week prior [to the Timberlake bust], he had actually saved a 25-year-old from an overdose. He had given him Narcan.”

The 43-year-old pop singer got into legal hot water when he got behind the wheel of a 2025 BMW after hanging with pals at Sag Harbor’s swanky American Hotel.
It has been reported that Arkinson gave Timberlake a warning before he arrested him. But the same insider tells us, “that never happened… the officer did not engage with Timberlake prior to him being pulled over.”
That’s when, “The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour,'” our source said.
Timberlake was booked at the Sag Harbor Police Department and charged with one count of driving while intoxicated , plus given tickets for ignoring a stop sign and failing to stay in a proper lane.
The star allegedly said at the scene that the bust would “ruin” his tour. MEGA
The office of local powerhouse attorney, Edward Burke Jr., released a statement to Page Six saying: “Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”
Despite his worries about interrupting his tour due to his arrest, the *NSYNC member returned to the stage following his DWI arrest Friday night in Chicago.
The “SexyBack” singer briefly mentioned his arrest during the show, telling his cheering fans, “It’s been a tough week.” He concluded, “I know I’m hard to love sometimes but you keep loving me right back.”
