This development follows Justin's arrest for driving under the influence in Sag Harbor, New York, back in June. The 43-year-old pop star was out meeting pals at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on Monday night.
He was then apprehended on Tuesday, June 18, shortly after midnight for missing a stop sign in his 2025 BMW and crossing into another lane. He declined a Breathalyzer test three times but underwent field sobriety tests, which he failed to pass satisfactorily.
Although Jessica wasn't present in the car during the incident, a source disclosed that she is still "livid" about what transpired.
The informant confided to Radar: "Jessica's angry. Justin could've hurt someone or himself. It was a selfish and stupid thing to have let happen."
Furthermore, the source remarked: "She's livid over Justin's careless behavior. She's always been protective that way. She wants to raise her boys in as normal an environment as possible, that's one of the reasons why she wanted to move to Montana."
The couple, who share two children, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 3, have been married for 12 years. Following the arrest, Jessica was seen without her wedding ring, sparking rumours that their marriage might be in trouble.
However, she did join him at one of his concerts, singing along with the crowd.
Jessica seemed to be enjoying herself as she sang along to his songs. Justin performed at Madison Square Garden on June 25 and 26 as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
On June 22, he made light of the arrest during his performance by pretending to be handcuffed during SexyBack.
Justin is due to appear in court for a hearing on July 26 - the same date he is scheduled to start the European leg of his current Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The tour supports his sixth studio album Everything I Thought It Was and is set to conclude on December 16, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
