The sellers are TV personalities-turned-developers Ricky Paull Goldin and Gretta Monahan . The power couple had bought the property, at 110 Division St., for $1.45 million.
“It pre-dates the assassination of Abraham Lincoln,” Goldin, who has appeared on “Guiding Light,” “All My Children” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” told Gimme Shelter. At one point, the home was slated to become a Sag Harbor post office. However, locals opposed the plan — after the owner had gutted the interiors.

“It was so sad. All of the beautiful woodwork inside was destroyed,” Goldin told Gimme. “We were able to buy the home for $1.45 million because it was in a terrible state of disrepair. It had a tiny little dirt floor, basement crawlspace, and all of the interiors and fireplaces were destroyed.”
It took two years, Goldin said, to get town approvals for plans created by architect Anthony Vermandois. A $3 million renovation ensued, which included lifting the building, expanding its footprint and adding a pool.
New owners can still add a roof deck, Goldin said.

Today, the 5,000-square-foot dwelling, which sits on 0.18 acres, comes with six bedrooms and 6½ baths. Details include an open chef’s kitchen with a dining area and a library.
“We did everything in our power to keep the integrity of the original home,” Goldin said. That includes restoring a dozen vintage glass windows.
“We’ve completely restored the home. It was a dual-usage home — residential and commercial. A Sag Harbor family doctor operated out of there for years,” Goldin added.

The front parlor can still be used as a medical office, he added.
“It came out so beautiful, we thought about living in it ourselves. But our kids go to school on the Upper West Side, and we are lucky enough to have a cottage in Sag Harbor that our kids love. We have done many homes in the Hamptons and love them all. But this one is closest to our heart,” he said.
