The Chelan County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 1 Evacuation Advisory for the Stehekin area due to the ongoing Pioneer Fire, which is burning in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest near Lake Chelan. The advisory affects the region up Lake from Hazard Creek to the High Bridge Ranger Station. Spanning 18,731 acres and located 31 miles northwest of Chelan, the fire is currently 14% contained.

SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man allegedly urinated in full view of a bar’s windows and proceeded to shoot at the establishment after being kicked out on Sunday. According to the Spokane Police Department, the 22-year-old man was asked to leave a bar on the 1400 block of East Illinois Avenue after getting into an argument.
