Lexington man found with multiple stab wounds inside burned home, coroner says
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified a man whose body was found at a home in Lexington after emergency services responded to a fire. The body was identified on Monday as Caldwell Melton Motley, Jr., 38, of Lexington, who was pronounced dead on the scene from multiple stab wounds.
Lexington deputies: Two dogs survive ill treatment; they're on the mend
LEXINGTON, S.C. — We reported Thursday that Lexington County investigators charged a 40-year-old man, Robert Jachim, with the ill-treatment of five dogs. Groundbreaking event for new NOAA facility in North Charleston, South Carolina
NOAA Marine and Aviation Operations will hold a ceremony to break ground on renovations at the agency’s pier facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. The renovations will include demolishing and building a new pier that includes shoreside power for ships, as well as a warehouse, sea wall and living shoreline, and other supporting infrastructure.
