Limitless Library Project serves campers at Camp Cole
Local nonprofit Limitless Purpose has established a Limitless Library at Camp Cole, which serves people with illnesses, disabilities and life challenges. This summer, each of the 700 campers was able to select at least one book as they were leaving camp. Irmo Varsity Football Beats Oceanside To Begin The Season 1-0
Irmo starts the 2024 season with a 35-7 victory over the Oceanside Landsharks. The Yellow Jackets’ first TD of the season came after a long TD pass from Senior QB AJ Brand to Sophomore WR Maleek Miller for 76 yards. Irmo went ahead 14-0 after another TD pass by Brand. This time senior Joey Albritton caught it for a 22-yard score. Oceanside scored a TD in the 2nd quarter but Irmo scored again right before halftime after AJ Brand ran for a 21-yard TD. In the 4th quarter, AJ Brand threw a 3rd TD pass to senior Kyle Mitchell for a 4-yard score. Senior Anton Jones ran it in to score late in the 4th quarter to make it a 35-7 final.

Pelicans Lead from Start to Finish in Saturday Victory over RiverDogs
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans scored two runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back, defeating the Charleson RiverDogs 4-1 on Saturday night at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
