Community Strings Orchestra to play summer concert
MONTICELLO — The Monticello Community Strings Orchestra will be performing its 23rd Annual Summer Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at the Monticello High School Auditorium, located at 5225 School Boulevard. With members that range from 11 to 69 years old, two different community groups — the concert orchestra and symphony orchestra — will be performing a wide variety of musical selections. This summer, the Monticello Community Strings Orchestra will be led under the direction of Michelle Schettler-Stein and Rachel Vannett. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Three-year I-94 Gap Project construction begins July 22

Man Witnessed Cutting Copper Pipes and Wiring in St. Cloud
The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a burglary on the 400 block of 1st Avenue South. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crime Stoppers says a witness interrupted a bearded white male inside a vacant building cutting copper pipes and wiring.
