Although it seems like just yesterday we were singing Alice Cooper’s “schools out for the summer,” parents and students have begun to set their sights on the upcoming year.

Here's a primer on what to know.

Aug. 5 is an optional pre-planning day, and all teachers report Aug. 6 for pre-planning.

Where can I find school supply lists?

Each school posts school supply lists on their website or during meet the teacher events.

Where can I find bus route information?

For safety reasons, routes are not posted on the St. Johns County School District website . Parents can access their child’s bus information via the St. Johns County School District Home Access Center.

What are the school start times elementary, middle and high school?

All school start times can be found at https://www.stjohns.k12.fl.us/schools/hours .

Are there any school supply giveaways?

The St. Johns County School district is not sponsoring giveaways, but businesses and INK!, the county’s direct support organization, may be coordinating giveaways. Contact INK! directly at 904-547-7120.
