Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati’s Council Oak Steaks & Seafood unveiled two new menu items named after Cincinnati Reds legend and Big Red Machine catcher Johnny Bench. The new menu items include an entrée and dessert. The entrée, “Johnny Bench’s Catch & Release,” features a 10-ounce blackened Gulf Snapper topped with five royal red prawns, an apple-mango relish and cilantro lime crema. CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Bengals on Wednesday made several roster moves. They signed defensive end Andre Carter, a rookie out of Indiana University, originally signed with Jacksonville as a free agent in May. He was waived by the Jaguars on July 31. The Bengals also signed defensive tackle Joshua Pryor, a second-year player out of Bowie State University, originally was a college free agent signee of Washington in 2023. He played in seven games as a rookie for the Commanders and recorded one special teams tackle. He was waived by Washington on May 7.

Middletown WWII veteran to receive proper burial after more than 80 years in France
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) -After more than 80 years, a World War II veteran will be laid to rest in his hometown of Middletown. Lieutenant Dan Corson was a United States Air Force pilot in 1942 when German soldiers shot down his B-17 aircraft. Corson's nephew, also named Dan Corson, handed over his uncle's archives to the Middletown Historical Society in 2005. From letters to photos, there are many pieces of Lieutenant Corson's life housed within the historical society.
