Keith Meister, MD, is set to perform elbow surgery on Washington Nationals pitcher Josiah Gray on July 24 in Arlington, Texas. The extent of the injury will be determined during the procedure. Based on the severity of the injury, an internal brace procedure, Tommy John surgery or a hybrid procedure could be performed, according to a July 19 news release.
