Man hurt in Dittmer motorcycle crash
A motorcyclist was injured on July 6 when he struck a deer on Hwy. B near Homewood Drive in Dittmer, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. At 6:15 p.m., John E. Reece, 60, of Valley Park was riding a northbound 2007 Harley-Davidson when he struck a deer in the roadway and was ejected from the motorcycle, the report said.
Pacific pool open for 2024 season
The Pacific municipal pool has finally opened. Despite thunderstorms and flood warnings early in the week, the city posted the announcement on its website and social media pages Monday, marking the beginning of its abbreviated 2024 season.
