Train station open house to be held in Wernersville
An open house is scheduled for Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the restored Wernersville train station, 20 E. Penn Ave. The station exhibits artifacts from the Reading Railroad, and docents will be on hand to answer questions. The 1926 station served Wernersville, South Mountain resorts and surrounding communities until suspension of passenger service on the Lebanon Valley Line in 1963.
