BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three people are accused of retail theft at Weis in Columbia County. The Bloomsburg Police Department is looking to identify three suspects involved in a retail theft at Weis Markets on Tuesday, July 9. Felon facing new charges for attempted gun purchase
Dushore, Pa. — A convicted felon allegedly told police he didn’t know his criminal history would prevent him from buying a gun. Justin Pajski, 28, is now facing another felony charge after he lied on a gun application while trying to buy a .357 Ruger from a shop in Dushore last August, police say. Pajski admitted he’d gone to Pigs Tail Guns, 123 Farrells Road, and filled out the ATF background check form. On it, Pajski answered “No” to the question asking if he’d ever been convicted of a felony, according to Trp. Ryan Joyce of state police at Laporte.

David H. Kline, 82, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Irene Kline, who died on Nov. 7, 2010. Born in Lancaster on Jan. 21, 1942, he was the son of the late Victor D. and Elizabeth N. (Nye) Kline Sr.

(WOLF) — Authorities are asking the public to come forward with information on any possible incidents regarding a former Tamaqua police officer who is facing child sexual abuse charges. MOUNT CARMEL — A borough firefighter escaped injury when part of a floor inside 137 W. Seventh St. gave way during a fire early Saturday. Fire Chief Jack Williams Jr., who directed firefighting efforts at the scene, said the Clover Hose Fire Co. firefighter, whose name was unavailable, was operating on the second floor of the home when it’s believed floor boards collapsed.
