News ITem: Two Shamokin Men Jailed for Break-in Tuesday
Police Chief Ray Siko said that shortly before 10am he was stopped by a motorist who witnessed the two men attempting to break into the buidling. While enroute to the scene Siko radioed for assistance including help from K9 Pax of the Coal Township police department. Police apprehended them and found Faust in possession of several syringes, a glassine packet containing suspected methamphetamine, a small head lamp, a utility knife and several tools including a large spot light.

A mobile law enforcement memorial traveled through downtown Lebanon Wednesday afternoon to honor the sacrifice of fallen police Lt. William Lebo. The Beyond the Call of Duty Ride to Remember memorial stopped on Cumberland Street in front of the Lebanon City Hall on July 10, with volunteers joining with Lebo's family and members of the Lebanon City Police Department to hold a short remembrance service. Lt. William Lebo was shot and killed in the line of duty March 31, 2022.
