First annual Pittiefest offers discounted pitbull adoptions at SPCA shelters
Danville, Pa. — The Pennsylvania SPCA hopes to start a new summer tradition with its first Pittiefest — a time to clear the stigma around pitbulls and encourage adopting them as pets. The event features a special $5 adoption fee for classic pitties from July 16 through Aug. 11. RIVERSIDE – One Northumberland County community has a bum traffic signal and it’s confusing drivers. In Riverside, police tell us their traffic signal is letting left turn traffic have a green light at the wrong times. Berks man sentenced after pleading guilty to child pornography crime
A Strausstown man was sentenced to federal prison Wednesday after earlier having plead guilty to a child pornography charge. Bradley M. Coleman, 39, was sentenced in U.S. district court in Philadelphia to 10 years in federal prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $35,000 in restitution.

Tamaqua to demolish Buildings
