Terrence 'Terry' Burtson
Burtson, Terrence "Terry" Age 78, of Isanti, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Born on September 9, 1945, in Minneapolis, Terry was the beloved son of Arthur and Helen (Erickson) Burtson. Raised in Fridley, he graduated from Fridley High School in 1963 before pursuing a degree in accounting at Winona State University and the University of Minnesota. Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Lorelei; his daughters, Shelly (Charles) Kinnunen and Gretchen (Tony) Walz; grandchildren, Kale and Courtney Kinnunen, and Meghan and Andrew Walz. Hicks-Brown, Elvera "Jean" We celebrate the life of Elvera Jean Hicks-Brown of Hugo, formerly of Fridley, who went to be with The Lord on July 13, 2024, at 96 years young. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Bertha Spieker; 1st husband of 63 years, Clayton E. Hicks; 2nd husband of 12 years, Kenneth E. Brown; brothers, Edgar, and Harlan. She is survived by her son, Robert (Pat Lutz) Hicks; daughter, Linda (Robert) Pourpasand; sister, Irma Fenno; brother, Cliff (Dorothy); grandsons, Geoffrey (Arianne) Hicks, Curtis (Angie) Hicks; great-granddaughter, Harper Jean; and many nieces and nephews. She was tireless in her devotion to her family and The Lord. She will forever be remembered.
