Silver Creek Township crash injures 3
Three people were taken to the hospital after a Sunday crash on the M62 Highway and Indian Lake Road in Silver Creek Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say Daniel French, 49, Dowagiac, was driving eastbound on M62 at approximately 12:31 p.m. Sunday. At the same time, a vehicle traveling northbound on Indian Lake Road failed to yield the right of way. This caused French, attempting to avoid a traffic crash, to strike an embankment.
Genoa man pleads no contest in DUI crash that killed one, plea deal reached
GENOA, Neb — A Genoa man accused of being drunk behind the wheel during a crash that left one person dead has taken a plea deal. Nathan Moseley, 19, pleaded no contest to DUI and motor vehicle homicide-willful/reckless. In exchange for his plea, the charges were reduced from motor vehicle homicide-DUI.
