Lindsay walking trail taking steps forward
LINDSAY — Walks are about to get better in Lindsay. Construction began about one month ago on the Lindsay walking/biking trail. Heartland Concrete Co., of Hastings won the right to construct the trails with a low bid of $384,072. It has dug out the first stretch of the trail around the practice football field and high school, and a culvert is being added near the Lindsay blacktop road so water doesn’t wash out the trail.
