Why Is Minnesota Now Out Of Hosting The Sundance Film Festival?
Well, that was quick. Just a couple of weeks after applying, Minnesota is now out of the running to host this famous film festival. The Sundance Film Festival has been an annual event held each January for over 40 years out in Park City, Utah. Earlier this year, the festival announced it had opened bids for other cities to host the festival beginning in 2027. Minnesota's largest city of Minneapolis had applied, but is now out of the running-- and we think we now know why.

Statewide Missing Person Alert For 17-Year-Old Minnesota Girl
Sartell, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide alert has been issued for a missing Minnesota teenager. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Kaydence Johnson has been missing for 30 days and is now considered and endangered missing person. The alert says she and another teenage girl ran away from a residence in the City of Sartell on June 22.
