Flipping Over Brandon Brown: LSU and Bo Davis flip highly touted defensive lineman from Texas’ commit list
LSU football and defensive line coach Bo Davis are on quite the roll over the last several days. On Friday, LSU successfully recruited defensive lineman Brandon Brown, who flipped his commitment from Texas to LSU. Brown is a four-star defensive tackle and the No. 35 ranked defensive lineman in the country.

The rain couldn't dampen the spirit as the City of Central hosted their Red, White and Boom! celebration at Shoe Creek on July 5, 2024. The free event, held to help support the troops, kicked off with The Chris LeBlanc Band and had kids activities, food and booths from local businesses and ended with a fireworks show by Pyromania Fireworks, LCC.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU women’s basketball star Mikaylah Williams was named to the 2024 USA U23 3×3 Basketball Team. The team is expected to compete in the FIBA 3×3 U23 Nations League in September. Williams will be joined by Christinia Dalce, Morgan Maly, Cotie McMahon, Lucy Olsen and Serah Williams on the 2024 USA 3×3 Women’s Nation League Team.

Four-star defensive tackle Brandon Brown has flipped to LSU from Texas, he announced on Friday. The Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie product had been committed to the Longhorns since December. With former UT defensive line coach Bo Davis leaving for the Tigers in January, Brown now follows the coach he originally committed to playing for at the end of last year.
