LSU sends 28 Athletes to the Summer Olympics the 8th most by college
While the Opening Ceremonies are still two days away, the Summer Olympics in Paris Officially kick off on Wednesday. The LSU Tigers will be one of the most represented colleges sending 28 athletes to compete and one coach which ranks seventh among all schools and third among SEC schools. The Tigers will be represented in diving, track and field, swimming, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and beach volleyball. Here are the 29 LSU Tigers that will be participating in the Paris Olympics this summer.

BRPD: Two men, teen arrested for tossing suspected weed onto interstate, fleeing officers
BATON ROUGE — Two men and a teen were arrested by Baton Rouge Police on drug charges after they fled from police and threw bags filled with marijuana onto Interstate 12. Derrick Green and Kentavian White were both arrested Tuesday on multiple felony charges, including possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. A 13-year-old who was with the men was also arrested and released to a guardian, BRPD said.
