Narcisse applies to get old job back as Baton Rouge schools leader
Just six months after leaving, former East Baton Rouge Parish school superintendent Sito Narcisse is looking to get back the job he held for three years. Narcisse announced that he's applying for the job Tuesday night, an hour after the parish School Board voted to reopen applications to fill the job Narcisse vacated in January. The move came after a contentious superintendent search that has fallen into a stalemate and compelled State Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley to intervene.

Randall Passing Academy Puts On First Ever Elite Football Camp
On Saturday, July 13th, former LSU quarterback Marcus Randall of Randall Passing Academy held its first ever elite football camp. In the past, the Bluegrass Miracle quarterback put on numerous quarterback camps in the past, but this was the first camp that was open up to all of the positions. It turned out to be a big success with almost 100 players in attendance for the event, plenty of coaches, and even former LSU and NFL guys out there like Skyler Green coaching the kids.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Since 2002, Dwain Jenkins has coached on the Lutcher staff in some capacity all but three years. Jenkins now enters his 9th season as the Bulldogs head coach. He likes his offensive line, led by players like Matt Lambert, Logan Borne, Colin Hastings, and Jayden Michael. Those linemen plan to open holes for senior Trenton Chaney, who had over 1,000 all-purpose yards as a running back and wide receiver last season. Man wanted in connection with shooting investigation, deputies say
WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A man is wanted by deputies in connection with a shooting investigation, according to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said that man is Julius Knox Jr., 23, of Baton Rouge. They added that his charges are armed robbery and attempted first-degree murder.
