Kevin Lockett graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1992, not only as one of the greatest wide receivers in school history, but he also excelled in academics. In addition to playing football, he was also a member of the baseball team. Kevin was inducted in the Booker T. Washington football Ring of Honor on February 7, 2020. He was also President of the National Honor Society and consistently on Booker T. Washington’s Honor Roll.

Manhattan, Kan. - Tucker Lamore, 21, of Clay Center, was arrested on July 26, 2024, at approximately 2:21 AM. Lamore was arrested on the probable cause offenses of aggravated battery, driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol, and reckless driving. Total bond was set at $12,000. Lamore was confined at the time of this report.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Springfield City Manager Jason Gage has withdrawn his name for consideration for city manager in Manhattan, Kansas. The City of Springfield confirmed Friday that Gage withdrew his name on Thursday. According to a newspaper in Manhattan, Gage and the other three candidates for the city manager’s position met with Manhattan’s city council on Tuesday.
