U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden’s constituents in Columbia County will be able to bend his ear at an upcoming town hall, scheduled for Sunday, July 14, at St. Helens Middle School.

The 1 p.m. gathering, open to all, will allow citizens to probe the senator on both national and local concerns.

Heading into four town halls, including stops in Linn, Yamhill and Jackson counties, Wyden will have held 1,089 of these get-togethers, including 24 this year.

Wyden pledges to hold at least one town hall each year in every Oregon county.

“I’m very much looking forward to hearing directly from Oregonians during this upcoming round of town halls because their ideas, questions and concerns all help me to represent our entire state," Wyden said in a release.

Wyden added, “As I approach my 1,100th town hall, I feel just as strongly as when I had my first town hall that Oregonians should always have these opportunities for conversations with elected officials about the challenges in their communities and the solutions that make all parts of Oregon even better places to live and work.”

St. Helens Middle School is located at 354 N. 15th St.
