$150K Salary For Former MCPS Superintendent Dr. Monifa McKnight at the University of Maryland, According to Report
Earlier this month the University of Maryland College of Education has named former MCPS superintendent Dr. Monifa McKnight as its inaugural Dean’s Fellow and Superintendent in Residence, effective August 23. The decision was met with mixed reactions, with some supportive of the hiring and others against it to the point of a petition being created asking the university to reverse its decision to hire McKnight. Moderately MOCO reported this evening that McKnight’s salary is “$150,000 for a 9 month appointment.”

Nurse Charged After Hospital Patient Dies
(Franklin County, PA) -- A Franklin County nurse is being charged following the death of a patient at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital earlier this year. Authorities said Sara Miller administered a substance into an agitated patient's morphine IV port on January 10th and did not document it. The patient died a short time later. Miller is facing misdemeanor charges.
