The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is ranked #5 in the state of Maryland and the Baltimore Metro area on U.S. News & World Report’s 2024-2025 Best Hospital’s list, released today. Nurse Charged After Hospital Patient Dies
(Franklin County, PA) -- A Franklin County nurse is being charged following the death of a patient at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital earlier this year. Authorities said Sara Miller administered a substance into an agitated patient's morphine IV port on January 10th and did not document it. The patient died a short time later. Miller is facing misdemeanor charges.
